On this half-day tour we'll start the day by visiting Portugal's national museum for Azulejo and learn about the evolution of this art in Portugal, starting from the XV century till today. After learning the theory it shall be time to put your hands to work: join a tile workshop and let the artist in you create a beautiful ceramic souvenir.

Portugal is home to one of the most rich and diverse tile art scenes in the world. Join a guided visit to the Museu Nacional do Azulejo to see and learn how the Azulejo tile art started in Portugal, by influence of the Moorish presence in the Iberian Peninsula, and how it evolved throughout the centuries to this day.

Considered one of the best museum in Portugal, the Museu Nacional do Azulejo is a mandatory stop for all Azulejo lovers. After the visit to the museum we'll take you to participate in a tile workshop, where you will have the chance to take a hands-on approach and be a tile painter for a day.
